Barelli MSFS Addons Milan Malpensa (LIMC) for MSFS-2024

Milan-Malpensa Airport (IATA: MXP, ICAO: LIMC) is an Italian intercontinental airport located in the municipalities of Somma Lombardo (Terminal 2), Ferno (Terminal 1) and Lonate Pozzolo (part of the airport) in the province of Varese, in the so-called Altomilanese; is the main airport in Milan. It is managed by SocietĂ  Esercizi Aeroporti (SEA). It is the second Italian airport for passenger traffic after Rome-Fiumicino Airport, the 9th airport in the world and the 6th place in Europe by number of countries served by direct scheduled flights. In 2022, 21.3 million passengers and 721 254 tons of goods passed through Malpensa airport, confirming the first airport in Italy for freight traffic and the second airport in Italy for passenger traffic.

Together with Linate Airport and Orio al Serio Airport, it forms the Milan airport system with 51.4 million passengers (year 2023), the first airport system in Italy (the second Italian airport system is that of Rome with 44.4 million passengers in 2023).

Malpensa is home to several airlines, such as easyJet, Ryanair and Wizz Air; it is the hub for the cargo airline Cargolux Italia and the passenger airline Neos. The airport has two terminals: Terminal 1 is used by scheduled, charter and low cost flights, with the exception of the easyJet company that exclusively uses Terminal 2.

CargoCity is the name given to the airport terminal 3 dedicated to cargo flights. Currently, the port of call is confirmed the first in Italy for this type of traffic.
